Survey forms for this year’s IT Trends report are now available. Organisations featured in last years report should have already received a copy of the form populated with the last recorded data to make it easier to complete. Others can download the form from the

IT Trends is published in January, based on responses from Heads of ICT and other senior managers in local authorities who control or influence ICT spending. It covers local authorities of England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland as well as selected police forces, fire services and other public bodies. Benchmark Data provided by Socitm members and pay data are also used. Generally, over 200 authorities contribute to the report each year, which is well reported in the IT and local government media and well used by those setting policy and strategy.
