The membership database contains Socitm contact lists which are published to enable members to network with each other but should not be used for marketing purposes. Members will receive regular email broadcasts from Socitm, but if you think you are being emailed by a person or organisation abusing the Socitm membership email list, please send details to enquiries@socitm.gov.uk. Socitm does occasionally allow organisations to contact members by post where it believes the material being sent may be of interest.
To access the membership database, you need to log in as a member and the link will appear in the left hand menu.
Below is a description of the individual membership categories of Socitm. Socitm Insight is a separate subscription. If you wish to subscribe to Socitm Insight or read the benefits of Socitm Insight then follow the links.
Transitional membership arrangements from 1 January 2009
At the EGM in October 2008 the membership structure of the Society was changed to reflect its new vision and direction. (You can read more about this in Socitm_News106.pdf).
Members will be consulted on the new professional structure for the Society and the corresponding fee levels for 2010 during 2009 and there is likely to be an EGM vote on this in October 2009.
The following transitional arrangements will apply from January 2009:
Those members previously Full and Affiliate members will become Senior Members with all others assigned to the Member category.
By the AGM in April 2009, at which all members will have the right to vote, the Membership Board will recommend the criteria for entry to the Senior Member category. From that time any existing members will also be able to apply to move from the Member to Senior Member category (or indeed vice versa). The criteria will be based upon the professional status of the applicant. The particular sector in which they are employed will not matter.

| Member (public and third sector) |

| Member (private sector) |
