Working with SMEs
Across the European Union, small to medium enterprises (SMEs) comprise 99% of all firms, account for 66% of employment and 65% of turnover. European governments including the UK aim to create significant fiscal and policy gains by improving the relationship between governments and SMEs. This Socitm Consulting briefing outlines some of the successes to date in the UK, with particular reference to e-procurement by local authorities.
