Description
The directory itself sets out for each service element guidance about how to specify that part of the service. We use a standard template that covers for each element:
- the definition of the service
- the need for the service
- the specification of the inputs (volume)
- the description of the outputs
- the specification of the outputs (quality)
- the identification of critical success factors and performance indicators
- the list of client and provider responsibilities
There are 57 service elements, grouped into three types of service:
- Managing change (SE1nn series)
- Managing applications (SE2nn series)
- Managing service delivery (SE3nn series)
