3. Gov Connect presentation from Anna Smith, DWP.  Gov Connect has moved on significantly since the move to DWP and Anna explains the revised approach and progress made.
4. Achieving Gov Connect's Code of Connection in Warwickshire County Council.  Linda Scannell has taken WCC right through the process to a successful outcome and shares her valuable learning. 
5. CESG.  Ian McCormack has recently been assigned from GCHQ's Information Security and Governance arm CESG, to CLG to understand better how CESG can support other government bodies such as Local Government.  Ian shares with the group some valuable details about Information Assurance, secure labelling and handling of marked documents and issues over the handling of data between local and central government.
6. SOCITM Business, (incl. Peter Bole, Kent CC on LG CIO Council, the Socitm AGM and South Region chair Nick Roberts' annual review of regional and Society activities over the past year.
7. Employee Authentication Service - Yasmine Dlia and John Skipper take the group through a new DWP project on creating a single employee authentication approach for access to services by staff across government.  This is particularly tied into Contact Point and the Government Gateway and offers a simplified connectivity solution for the future
