This one day workshop will explore the basics for delivering effective Project and Programme Management. This is an introductory overview, for those new to Project and Programme Management. The course will be especially suitable for those who need to understand the concepts, tools and approaches, without needing to obtain certification.

Tutor

Mark Brett is the Activity Manager for Socitm's Performance Management Group and the Socitm Learning Manager. Mark worked for 21 years in Local Government, with experience in ICT, Housing and Emergency Planning. His specialist interests include partnership working, information security and business continuity management. Other involvement with Socitm includes SIAG, the Insight Steering Group and the London branch executive. Mark holds a Masters Research degree in Local Government Studies from North London University.
