Further information

'Shared services, once the great white hope for efficiency and cost saving, the subject of agitated chatter from ministers and business, is yesterday's news….

Shared services were once going to conquer. Instead of employing its own staff to run payroll or personnel, or a press office, a government department should buy in the service at lower cost from a specialist offering economies of scale…..’

In the post Blair era, where are we going with Shared Services? The workshop will be presented by Adrian Hancock from Socitm Services.

Inevitably on such a hot topic, the number of delegates from each organisation must be limited to one initially and places will be allocated in order of request, so early booking is advised. If you would like to propose one or two more delegates, please do so in case there are any cancellations.

To reserve a place at this event, please contact Tony Woodhouse by e-mail (tony@wattlefield.fsnet.co.uk), giving the following details of the delegate(s):

  - Name,

  - Job title,

  - Name of organisation,

  - e-mail address,

  - Telephone number,

  - Any special requirements.

The workshop is free of charge and will include a light lunch. The St. John’s Innovation Centre is close to the A14 and a map can be found via the link below.
