Events Activity Group organises and manages two major national conferences for Socitm each year, the one-day Spring Seminar held in April, and the three-day Autumn conference in October.

Member Services Activity Group (MSG) champions the interests of Socitm members. It advises the National Council on all matters relating to membership policies and manages membership applications. It also manages Socitm's training and professional development activities.

Performance Management Activity Group (PMG) provides information and best practice advice around performance management and benchmarking. The Group also manages the Socitm Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the Socitm KPI Database.

Socitm Consulting Activity Group manages Socitm Consulting, the Society's consultancy business. Socitm Consulting provides business transformation and management consultancy services to a wide range of public and independent sector organisations. 

Socitm Information Age Activity Group (SIAG) provides advice and information to Socitm members on key business transformation and e/t-government issues. It works with central and local government bodies and partners to influence the development of e-government policy, standards, and strategies. It also defines the skills required to deliver effective service transformation enabled by technology, assisting members to fully develop their career potential. 

Socitm Insight Steering Group manages Socitm Insight, a subscription service offered to organisations in or connected with the public sector. Socitm Insight identifies and promotes best ICT management practice by capturing experience from such organisations and publishing its findings through printed reports which are also available on this website.
