Socitm Information Age Group (SIAG)

SIAG is an interactive network of people and organisations that meets six times a year to discuss a wide range of relevant issues.

SIAG seeks to proactively influence developments in information age government for the benefit of Socitm members and the wider local government community. We also provide a knowledge and information infrastructure to Socitm members as well as advice and support on key business transformation and e/t-government issues.

SIAG works with central and local government bodies and partners to offer advice and expertise in the development of information age government policy, standards, and strategies.  It also helps, along with a range of partners, to resource the transformation and delivery of  IT enabled services. SIAG acts as an umbrella for various other interest groups whose activities can be accessed from these pages.

Information about SIAG's programme and core activities can be found under SIAG in the left hand menu.
